1 CAFAYATE: Characterized as the central point of the Calchaquíes Valleys, Cafayate occupies a strategic place where three provinces converge: Salta, Tucumán and Catamarca, a situation that adorns it with the contribution of diverse cultures, allowing it to offer its visitors much more than natural beauty. 2 QUEBRADA DE LAS CONCHAS + AMPHITHEATER + DEVIL’S THROAT: The Quebrada de las Conchas originated in the Tertiary Era, 70 million years ago, and separates the Lerma Valley from the Calchaquí Valley. Wind erosion has formed a succession of natural caprices such as the famous Garganta del Diablo, a deep and closed canyon that encourages you to climb. Then appear El Anfiteatro (mountainous formation with an acoustic that favors even at least intonation), El Sapo, El Fraile, El Obelisco, Los Castillos, whose names represent what they appear to be. 3 BODEGA VASIJA SECRETA: The origin of the wineries in the Cafayate area, in the province of Salta, dates back to the middle of the 18th century. In those days, the first estancias appeared where wine was produced in their houses for their own family consumption. These characteristics and the quality of the product gave rise to an incipient wine industry at the beginning of the 19th century. In those years, the Córdova Murga family became the owner of a winery originally called La Banda, located in an area that today is practically the entrance to the town. As part of those first stays, today Casa Córdoba & Murga inherits and cultivates all its pioneering tradition as it is the oldest working winery in the region.
4 SALTA: Salta is a city, a municipality and the capital of the province of Salta, which has a population of 535,303 inhabitants, being the most populous city in the province and the seventh in the country. It is located to the east of the Andes mountain range, in the Lermay Valley crossed by the Arenales River that divides it into center, north and south.
